"Incredible service and quick replies"
I reached out via email during the weekend with a question about parts. By Monday morning, I had the info I was looking for. I couldn’t connect over the phone, but Chris Bibby returned my call right away, took my order, and arranged for next day delivery. You really can’t beat that. Big thanks to Chris and the Sigma team!

"Auto-focus Repair Experience with Sigma Imaging"
I've sent my auto-focus on this lens to Sigma Imaging for repairs a few times over the years, and I gotta say, I'm really pleased with their service. No hassle at all, and they fixed my latest recurring issue in just a few days, without charging me a dime. Couldn't ask for more as a customer!
"Fixed my camera lens and sent it back..."
Fixed my camera lens and sent it back via special delivery for £14.99. I shipped it off on Tuesday, and it was back in my hands by Thursday. A well-known camera brand didn’t want to help with the repair, but Sigma was polite and professional.

"Amazing Service from This Company!"
This company did an awesome job fixing and cleaning my 150-600 lens after I dropped it. The price was great, and the turnaround was quick—sent it on a Monday and had it back by Saturday, plus they included a little gift, which was a nice surprise. I can't recommend them enough. Thanks a ton!

"Outstanding Service from Sigma UK"
I recently purchased a Sigma 105mm macro lens, and when it showed up, I realized the padded carry case didn’t come with a strap. I shot off an email to Sigma on Saturday, and by Monday morning, I got a response from Chris Bibby. He apologized for the missing strap and asked for my details to send one out. I’m really impressed with how fast they handled my issue. Big shoutout to Sigma for their service, and an even bigger thanks to Chris Bibby. By the way, Chris, sorry for not using your first name earlier—I didn’t catch it until after I replied!

"Absolutely adore my Sigma lenses..."
I’m really into all the Sigma lenses I’ve purchased. They’re incredibly sharp, and that USB dock is a game changer for calibrating the autofocus... couldn’t be happier with them.

"Accidentally dropped my Sigma 50mm Art lens..."
I accidentally dropped my Sigma 50mm Art lens on the ground and messed up the mount. Reached out to Sigma, sent the lens in, and received a pretty fair repair quote. I paid for the fix over the phone, and my lens was returned to me in just 2 days. The whole process took less than a week, and now the lens is in mint condition. Kudos to Sigma!

"truly outstanding if you choose their top option"
I switched over from Canon and Tamron lenses for my Canon cameras. These are superior to Zeiss glass.
"Disappointing Sigma 150-600mm Lens and Customer Service"
I've got a few Sigma 'ART' lenses that I generally like. After a lot of digging around, I decided to grab a Sigma Contemporary 150-600mm lens kit along with a 1.4 teleconverter. Unfortunately, after setting it up on a tripod and snapping a few pics, the results were pretty dismal! I'm using a Nikon D500, which should work just fine, but the autofocus on this lens is just not cutting it. When I switch to live view and take the time to focus manually, the images turn out better. I was planning to do a YouTube review, so I thought it was only fair to let Sigma have a chance to address my concerns.
In the end, I got a bunch of excuses about why the lens might not be performing well. They suggested I could either shell out even more cash for a USB dock or send the whole setup back to them at my own cost to get it fixed. I just dropped over £800 on this lens, and they expect me to just roll with that?
Here's the deal: this lens should work right out of the box. If it doesn't, Sigma ought to have a system in place to pick it up and return it after fixing the issue. It's not the consumer's job to keep spending more money to resolve a problem that shouldn't even exist! It's hard to think of any other industry that charges so much for their goods and then fails to provide decent customer service. Sadly, this seems to be a common issue. Sigma, as a third-party manufacturer, really needs to step up their customer support game and differentiate themselves from the competition by backing their products with top-notch service. I'm going to share my review, return this lens to the retailer, and make it clear that I won't be buying Sigma again!

"If only I could rate it 6 stars"
I own a fantastic Sigma 8-16mm lens that turned into a paperweight after Nikon rolled out a firmware update for my D5500 camera. When I reached out to Nikon, they basically told me to take a hike. However, Sigma was a different story; they quickly sent me an RMA and asked me to return the lens, even though it was way past the warranty period. They received it the very next day and shot me an email receipt within 10 minutes of signing for it. Just an hour later, I got another email saying they had fixed it at no cost by updating the firmware to match Nikon's changes, and they had already shipped it back to me via UPS. So, just three days after I found out about the issue, my lens is back in action with my camera, performing like a champ. At 63 years old, I can honestly say I've never experienced such outstanding, professional, friendly, or speedy service from any other company. Big props to Sigma!

"Never again with Sigma products!"
A couple of years back, I picked up what I thought was a decent second-hand zoom lens (Sigma EX HSM APO 70-200 f2.8) for my Canon DSLR, and I was really into it. Lately, though, the autofocus just quit on me. I tried reaching out to independent repair shops, but they either weren’t interested, said there were 'no parts', or quoted outrageous prices. Sigma UK mentioned they might be able to help if I sent it in. The salesperson was supposed to inform the service team about it being on the way. Clearly, there was zero communication, and they didn’t even bother to check the lens; it just got sent back to me, making it a total waste of my time and cash. When I called to ask about it, I was left feeling pretty disappointed with their response.
I decided to move on and stick with Canon gear. But Sigma kept bombarding me with mail shots, and I kept telling them I wouldn’t buy their stuff again. Eventually, someone from Sigma reached out to ask what the issue was, hoping to sort it out, but I guess they can’t, since the factory probably won’t produce any more of those autofocus parts—bad for business, I suppose.
Now they’re back at it, throwing more deals, discounts, and trade-ins my way, which I find completely unacceptable. I’ve switched to mostly old Canon FD manual lenses that I’ve converted for use on modern EF-mount bodies. It’s totally doable and saves a ton of money. There are some fantastic vintage optics just waiting to be revived. I plan to sell my old Sigma for whatever I can get and won’t be returning to that brand, ever.
These days, I’ve got a mix of Canon EF (the magic drainpipe and the mini-magic drainpipe), along with converted Canon FD and Zeiss ZE lenses. I recently sold the Sigma zoom lens, which now has no autofocus, for a fraction of what I originally paid. Better to get a little cash than let it sit around as a paperweight cluttering up my space.
